Bloody Makeup Video Based on Short Horror Stories
Lady Eureka, Nurse Deisel and Evilyn are the actors in the bloody hospital makeup video for the Wicked Hospital theme at Sanctuary with Pandemonium Music on November 2.
This second video theme is based on classic short horror stories from Edgar Allan Poe, an American Romantics writer. This includes the decay of the aristocracy in "The Fall of the House of Usher" first published in Burton's Gentleman's Magazine in 1839 to blood and gore in "The Murders in the Rue Morgue", which was originally published in Graham's Magazine in 1841. "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" has been claimed as the first detective story and was acclaimed as original for its time.
The second video (bloody hospital makeup) also uses experimental image effects and Lady Eureka's voice is digitally manipulated into a monsterous and robotic vocals and is influenced by Bela Lugosi's movie adaptation of "Murders in the Rue Morgue". Lady Eureka's speech is made unclear with the synthetic sound effects to mimick the murderer's unclear speech in the Lugosi movie. Also, "morgue" is associated with "death" and the letters D E A D appear in the intro of the bloody hospital video to set the stage for the next video with Pandemonium....
